About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Knowledge about manufacturing food preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. continuously.
• Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts.
• Willingness to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate a bagging machine to fill bags with product accurately.
• Ensure batch numbers and product codes on labels match the product being dumped.
• Maintain the metal detector in good working condition.
• Stack bags neatly on skids according to requirements.
• Return any unused labels to the operator for recording.
• Clean the machine and work area as required.
• Detect malfunctions of the metal detector and rollers, reporting them to the supervisor.
• Comply with all safety requirements and company policies.
• Report all shortages to the lead operator.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
