The Bagger Operator I position at Bolthouse Fresh Foods involves the setup and operation of automated bagging equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and efficiency of the bagging process for pre-weighed carrots, contributing to the company's commitment to high-quality food production. The operator will work on the 2nd shift and is expected to maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Set up and operate automated bagging equipment safely and efficiently.
Verify bagger set-up with the scheduled production run and adjust machine controls accordingly.
Manually load packaging supplies onto the bagging machine as required.
Operate bagging machines and monitor the bagging process for quality control.
Ensure full bags are properly closed and remove non-conforming bags.
Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
Respond to metal detector alerts and take appropriate actions.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and replenish supplies as needed.
Report any issues within 10 minutes of a breakdown.

High School Diploma or GED.
One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Teamwork and ability to follow instructions.
Certification on bagging machine through Triangle and completion of Lock-out/Tag out Awareness Training.

Six months to one year experience in a food production or manufacturing facility.
Prior knowledge of OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA, and EPA regulations.
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Prior experience with Triangle® bagging machines.
