This position is based on-site at Denver International Airport (DEN), with a standard Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule. Due to the mission-critical nature of the Baggage Handling System (BHS), on-call support is required, and occasional night and weekend work may be necessary for system testing, upgrades, and operational needs. The Baggage Handling Systems Engineer performs specialized, advanced engineering work related to the operation, maintenance, optimization, and engineering support of complex Baggage Handling Systems (BHS). This role involves system performance analysis, complex system diagnostics, root cause investigations, and developing high-level strategies for improving mechanical, electrical, controls, and software subsystems. The engineer conducts detailed technical evaluations and studies, supports system reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) objectives, and acts as a subject matter expert for operations, maintenance teams, contractors, and airport stakeholders on BHS engineering, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
