About The Position

The Badging Specialist at Texas Health Dallas is responsible for managing security badge access for employees and contractors. This role involves photographing individuals, creating security badges, and maintaining the security card access system. The position requires effective communication with staff and the ability to troubleshoot badge access issues. The Badging Specialist will also assist with departmental projects and enforce security policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is Required.
• 3 years of Clerical Experience is Required.
• 2 years of Experience with Security Card Access Systems Preferred.
• 1 or more years of Experience with Badging/Access Control.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance.
• Ability to learn and apply new information in a timely manner.
• Ability to investigate, analyze, and resolve non-routine issues.
• High levels of alertness and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proven analytical skills and excellent working knowledge of computers and Microsoft software applications.

Responsibilities

• Photograph individuals and create security badges in the security card access system.
• Input and update information, import and export cardholders’ photos, and assign access levels to badges.
• Respond promptly to user requests for badge access and troubleshoot security badge issues.
• Enforce policies and verify government-issued IDs before issuing security badges.
• Assist with maintaining the vehicle parking database and provide reports for investigations.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
