About The Position

The Badging Specialist will support day-to-day badging operations. This role ensures compliance of the badging program responsibilities, standards, maintenance of administrative records and oversees the daily activity related to the badging office. Note: This is an onsite position with requirement to be in office at our Baltimore - MD location for all scheduled shifts. This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with access control systems and basic computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to pass background checks.

Nice To Haves

  • One year badging operations Corporate security experience
  • Experience with CCure9000
  • Previous experience in security, customer service, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily issuance and programming of ID badges to include the following: program credentials into physical access control system; take inventory of supplies. Report system malfunctions immediately upon discovery
  • Follow both simple and detailed instructions for issuing access cards and operating in accordance with both written and oral guidance. This includes preparing reports, providing clear, concise, and polite customer service.
  • Manage support request through a ticking system using clear and concise communication with client
  • Respond to telephone, and e-mail requests in a professional, efficient and timely manner.
  • Provide support for Exelon Visitor Management program using CCURE access control system
  • Oversee Exelon badging program and day-to-day operations.
  • Manage badge distribution and meet the client's needs for all badging requests.
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by assisting with badge-related inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain the highest standards of appearance and professional conduct and set the example for all security personnel and customer clients.
  • Represent Exelon's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Answer phone calls and emails in a professional manner
  • Manage and maintain cardholder profile accuracy.
  • Ensure badging supplies are in stock and equipment is functional.
  • Troubleshoot problems or concerns related to access control equipment and coordinate problem resolution with Exelon Support team.
  • Report suspicious activities or unusual situations.
  • All other duties, as assigned.
