Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, relevant certifications, or equivalent professional work experience required.
  • 5+ years’ professional hands-on experience implementing and administering enterprise backup systems.
  • Experience implementing and administering enterprise‑level backup solutions and performing system, application, and database restorations in complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of core security principles, including the ability to assess, prioritize, and investigate cybersecurity alerts.
  • Working knowledge of common hardware (workstations, servers, laptops) and modern operating systems (Windows Desktop, Windows Server, Linux)

Responsibilities

  • Designs and manages resilient backup and recovery solutions across on‑premises and cloud environments, ensuring systems and data remain protected and recoverable.
  • Strengthens security by applying robust cyber‑resilience controls, monitoring threats, and maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of backup infrastructure.
  • Oversees reliable daily operations, proactively improving performance, automating workflows, and ensuring systems and applications are consistently and securely backed up.
  • Leads recovery efforts during incidents, collaborates across technical teams to enhance resilience, and maintains clear documentation and reporting to support continuity and readiness.
