About the position

The position involves maintaining and processing shipments for the Club in accordance with Company policies and procedures. This includes developing and posting delivery schedules, compiling and organizing receiving reports, verifying merchandise counts, routing merchandise to proper locations, and paying expenses. The role also requires receiving merchandise for the Facility, organizing and maintaining the Receiving area, and utilizing equipment appropriately while completing required documentation. Additionally, the position tracks and processes claims by returning damaged goods, handling liquidation merchandise, maintaining and cleaning the clearance area, and utilizing technology for reporting and documentation. Safety is a key aspect of the role, requiring adherence to safety standards, conducting safety sweeps, and following proper procedures for handling hazardous materials. Compliance with company policies and ethical standards is essential, as is the ability to complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with various stakeholders and adapting to changes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and process shipments in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
• Develop and post delivery schedules.
• Compile and organize receiving reports.
• Verify merchandise counts and route merchandise to proper locations.
• Pay expenses related to shipments.
• Receive merchandise for the Facility and maintain the Receiving area.
• Utilize equipment appropriately and complete required documentation.
• Track and process claims for damaged goods and handle liquidation merchandise.
• Maintain and clean the clearance area and utilize technology for reporting.
• Ensure safety of the facility by following safety standards and procedures.
• Conduct safety sweeps and report unsafe situations to management.
• Comply with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Collaborate with managers, co-workers, and customers to complete work assignments.

Requirements

• Forklift Certification OR will obtain a Forklift Certification within 30 days of job entry date.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
