About The Position

We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our prime clients for a position of Backend Java Developer to work in Irving, TX OR Phoenix, AZ OR Charlotte, NC OR New Jersey on Hybrid basis. The project involves maintaining the Merchants, focusing on merchant services technology, including onboarding and maintenance activities. Ongoing projects include adding new enhancements and integrations such as profile validation, third-party integrations, and interactions with internal WF systems. The role operates on a two-week sprint cycle following the typical SDLC lifecycle.

Requirements

• Experience with Java and backend services
• Knowledge of OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience with Spring Boot, microservices, and building APIs
• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills
• Messaging queue experience
• Familiarity with Jenkins for automating CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on coding experience
• Knowledge of data structures, table tuning, time and space complexity
• Understanding of efficient coding practices and avoiding vulnerabilities

Nice To Haves

• Experience with test automation tools
• Familiarity with SQL, SSIS, ETL, Informatica
• Knowledge of Kafka and caching mechanisms
• Experience with Angular (front-end)
• Experience with Entity Framework
