Requirements

• Technical Excellence: Proven experience in backend development with a focus on infrastructure, distributed systems, or low-latency environments.
• Startup Mindset: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, stealth-mode environment where adaptability and speed are essential.
• Engineering Depth: Proficiency in languages and frameworks suited for high-performance systems (e.g., Rust, Go, C++, or specialized Java/Python applications).
• Location: Willingness to work on-site in Los Angeles (IRL) to collaborate with the core team.
• Problem-Solving: A track record of tackling "technically hard" challenges and delivering production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

• System Architecture: Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services and infrastructure.
• Low-Latency Engineering: Optimize system performance to ensure minimal latency for data processing and media delivery.
• Data Infrastructure: Develop robust data pipelines and storage solutions capable of handling massive, real-time datasets.
• Scalability & Reliability: Implement best practices for system monitoring, security, and automated deployment to ensure 24/7 reliability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with a lean team of "A-player" engineers to translate high-level product goals into technical reality.
