About The Position
As a Backend Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and scaling cutting-edge platforms at the forefront of crypto and social finance. You’ll work across the entire backend, delivering low-latency distributed systems at scale, in an environment where speed, ownership, and innovation are paramount. Architect, build, and ship high-performance solutions at speed, contributing directly to the growth of the world’s largest crypto social network Work across the backend, from infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, DB optimisations, and REST APIs, ensuring high performance and scalability Rapidly prototype and iterate on new features, balancing speed with quality in a fast-moving environment Solve complex technical challenges in a space where innovation and efficiency are the upmost priority Collaborate closely with a world-class team of engineers and product leaders to push boundaries and redefine what’s possible Take full ownership of your work, from initial concept to production deployment and maintenance
Requirements
- must have experience with distributed systems, high performance computing, and working at scale
- must have experience with databases like clickhouse, timescaledb, or other time series databases
- must have experience with rust, go, or other systems programming languages
- must have experience with typescript
