About The Position

abra R&D is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer!
abra R&D is looking for a backend engineer to help build the next‑generation Database built from scratch for AI Agents.
As a backend rengineer, you will help build an SDK layer on top of a custom AI‑Agent Database, enabling external developers and internal systems to integrate easily, efficiently, and safely.
This is not a standard backend role; it is infrastructure‑level development, touching core systems used by AI Agents in production.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Backend experience
• Strong experience with Node.js / Python / Go / Rust (flexible stack)
• Proven experience building SDKs and integrations
• Strong system design and architecture skills
• Experience with large‑scale infrastructure
• Ability to define and implement features independently

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SDKs as an abstraction layer over the database
• Build integrations with internal and external systems
• Design backend systems from scratch (0→1)
• Own system design, architecture decisions, and feature definitions
• Build large‑scale infrastructure similar to trading systems or high‑throughput platforms
• Develop production‑grade backend services
