About The Position

Back Market is a global marketplace for refurbished devices, aiming to make tech reliable, affordable, and better than new. The mission is to lower environmental impact by providing trustworthy, affordable tech with significantly less carbon emissions than new devices. The position involves collaborating with experienced engineers on feature development and system enhancements, as well as supporting the team's technical rework efforts to refine and optimize the codebase.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in your last year of an Engineering School with a backend specialization/ University Master's degree and your university can provide an internship agreement.
• Knowledge of basic coding languages, ideally Python, and basic programming experience (github, personal or student projects).
• Knowledge of databases and operating systems; Linux is a plus.
• Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly, with curiosity about the coding environment.
• Detail-oriented with the desire and ability to work in a team in an international environment.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
• Authorized to work in France (EU Nationality or in possession of valid student visa/work permit).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced engineers on feature development and system enhancements.
• Support the team's technical rework efforts, helping refine and optimize our codebase.

Benefits
