About The Position

Our client is an international, growing fintech company developing payment infrastructure and financial platforms. They work with payment gateways, digital wallets, and external PSP integrations, focusing on reliability, scalability, and clean system design. The team operates in a distributed, remote-first environment with a strong engineering culture.
As a Backend Developer (ASP.NET), you will work on core fintech systems, including payment processing, wallet functionality, and data platforms. The role combines integration work with building and improving backend services from scratch, contributing directly to the stability and evolution of the platform.

Requirements

• Strong experience with C# and ASP.NET Core (Middle+ or Senior level).
• Hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core and PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of backend architecture, APIs, and payment-related systems.
• Experience working with CQRS and MediatR or similar patterns.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team.
• Good communication skills in English and Russian.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Ownership and responsibility for delivered solutions.
• Clear communication in an international team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving fintech setup.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using ASP.NET Core Web API.
• Integrate external payment systems and PSPs.
• Build and improve data pipelines and Data Warehouse components.
• Design and implement new backend systems from the ground up.
• Work with CQRS and MediatR patterns in production systems.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps teams on solution design.
• The role involves communication with international clients and partners.
