About The Position

The Backup Receiver position is responsible for all functions and paperwork receiving. This position operates machinery including baler, compactor, and forklift in a safe and proper manner. You are also responsible for maximizing sales potential through effective and proper procedures for receiving products entering the store. Additionally, this position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the receiving area. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment then we want to hear from you!

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age; possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to report receiving discrepancies and rectify problems.
• Ability to work independently and have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to move/transferring product weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Must use pallet jack to transfer product weighing up to 1000 lbs.
• Vision required for reviewing invoices and monitoring incoming product.
• Ability to perform simple math operations and understand retail receiving.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all functions and paperwork receiving.
• Operate machinery including baler, compactor, and forklift safely.
• Maximize sales potential through effective receiving procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the receiving area.
• Report any receiving discrepancies to Managers and Buyers.
• Examine contents and compare with records to verify accuracy.
• Attend all applicable trainings and comply with established procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members and Store leadership.
• Execute other duties as needed.
