The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment. As a member of the Maintenance Team, your restaurant will support you with the tools and training needed to succeed.

Requirements

• Demonstrated facilities maintenance experience preferred, but not required.
• Prior work experience in a restaurant setting is preferred, but not required.
• Prior experience handling cash and credit card transactions is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to count back cash to customers, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist management in maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness.
• Maintain restaurant equipment.
• Serve customers in a polite and timely manner.
• Prepare food and beverages in accordance with prescribed safety guidelines.
• Take orders from customers.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Operate a cash register and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Clean the restaurant including mopping, sweeping, wiping, and scrubbing.
• Stock cold and dry products.
• Work as a team to meet sales goals.
• Install, repair, and maintain restaurant facility, both interior and exterior.
• Assist Facility Maintenance team with installation, repair, and maintenance of restaurant equipment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines.
• Arrive for shift on time and stay until completion of duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
