Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Strong communication skills
Demonstrates the ability to work with others toward a shared goal
Must be detailed-oriented and organized
Must be able to complete tasks on time
Ability to accommodate different shifts is an advantage

Responsibilities

Perform all necessary janitorial and housekeeping duties in the building interior, exterior and common areas. This includes, but is not limited to, the restrooms, office, cafes, conference rooms, etc. Dispose of all refuge and paper waste in the appropriate manner.
Working in a safe and efficient manner. Constantly monitoring area for safety hazards and housekeeping issues and working with appropriate personnel to resolve these issues quickly.
Responsible for the recommendations of the interior common areas and offices by evaluating and recommending repairs and improvements.
Assist in ordering and maintaining efficient inventory levels of all custodial supplies necessary.
Judge housekeeping and schedule maintenance as appropriate. Adhere to our system of maintenance to obtain desired order and cleanliness.
Consult with internal and external sources for evaluation, recommendations, and improvements to grounds and building(s).
Request tools and supplies needed for the job and prioritize and schedule work.
Properly store waste and work with outside contractors to properly dispose of wastes.
Responsible for preventive maintenance procedures, housekeeping and environmental compliance.
Responsible for proper handling and storage of wastes for subsequent off-site disposal.
