About The Position

At Chick-fil-A, the Back of House Team Member role is more than just a job; it's an opportunity. In addition to working directly for an independent Owner/Operator, Back of House Closing Team Members gain life experience that goes far beyond serving a great product in a friendly environment. They are responsible for providing exceptional cleanliness in our kitchen. You will be expected to work late hours and independently to ensure that dishes, floors, surfaces, and equipment are left clean and ready for operations the next day. No high school students, please. This is an important role and requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Requirements

  • Consistent and reliable
  • Available to work 9PM - 1AM (somettimes earlier, sometime later)
  • Able to take responsibility for work getting done quickly and perfectly.
  • Cheerful and positive attitude, cares for fellow team members and leadership.
  • a desire to do your best without constant oversight.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to multi-task
  • Works well independently and in a team environment
  • Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule
  • Have the ability to lift and carry 35 lbs on a regular basis
  • Have the ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Drug free, smoke free, vape free and profanity free environment.

Responsibilities

  • Be available for closing procedures, which include: Floor cleaning, dish washing, equipment cleaning, and deep cleaning as assigned.
  • Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
  • Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
  • Complete all closing tasks as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned
