Responsibilities

  • Arrive promptly at 5:30 AM and check in with the opening kitchen leader.
  • Turn on kitchen equipment and perform pre-operational checks.
  • Prepare and organize ingredients, sauces, and prep items for breakfast and lunch.
  • Cook, assemble, and package menu items according to Chick-fil-A standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep, cook, and dish areas.
  • Monitor food safety temperatures and product rotation (FIFO).
  • Communicate effectively with FOH and leadership for smooth service transitions.
  • Support teammates in maintaining a safe, fast-paced, and positive kitchen environment.
  • Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly, and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
  • Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
  • Stock kitchen inventory as needed
  • Keep the kitchen neat, clean, and orderly at all times
  • Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
  • Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
  • Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and staying up-to-date on any changes
  • Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
  • Other duties as assigned
