About The Position

Pet Paradise is looking for “pet people” with leadership experience and growth potential to fill our open Resort Supervisor position. This position requires a considerable amount of physical labor, including pet handling, walking, cleaning, and maintenance of the suites. The Resort Supervisor will provide direct supervision of our Resort Associates and Playtime Coordinators, including leading, training, and coaching associates based on company standards, policies, and guidelines. The role also involves assisting the management team with training employees, assigning and directing work, coaching, and conducting employee performance reviews.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training.
  • Prior supervisory experience highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, cash management, and sales skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable leading by example and managing hands-on tasks.
  • Physically able to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Providing direct supervision of Resort Associates and Playtime Coordinators.
  • Leading, training, and coaching associates based on company standards.
  • Assisting the management team with training employees and conducting performance reviews.
  • Reporting and documenting any potential hazards or behavioral problems.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of suites and guest areas.
  • Feeding, exercising, and providing daily care for all guests.
  • Assisting new and existing team members in completing their required LMS courses and training guides.
  • Performing additional duties as required by the management team.
