About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Back of House Manager to coordinate daily back of house operations in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will effectively manage kitchen staff to ensure the delivery of quality food in a timely manner while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety. You will play a crucial role in creating a pleasant dining experience for our guests by ensuring that all food is properly cooked and served. Requirements

  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to serving team members and guests.
  • Experience in managing team dynamics and performance issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting with shared responsibility.
  • Must be available Monday to Saturday, including holidays, with a commitment to closing two nights a week.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including managing staff and shift organization to meet restaurant needs.
  • Lead, motivate, and support the kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Monitor team member performance and address behavioral or performance issues as necessary.
  • Ensure that all food safety and quality assurance procedures are strictly followed.
  • Manage inventory needs, tracking supplies to minimize waste and ensure availability.
  • Communicate effectively with other leaders to identify and fill staffing gaps and address operational needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
