About The Position
As a Back End Department Supervisor at Lowe's, you will be responsible for leading and enabling a team of associates to deliver the best possible customer experience in the store. This includes coaching and training associates, delegating tasks, managing performance, and ensuring adequate department coverage. You will collaborate with front-end and back-end operations associates to ensure items are adequately stocked and monitor the use of store power equipment while coaching employees on safe behaviors and lifting techniques. Your role will also involve conducting safety walks, reporting hazards, and understanding all safety and lifting requirements. Additionally, you may occasionally open or close the store or serve as manager-on-duty (MOD).
