About The Position

Jovie is Hiring a Babysitter! Location: Norwalk, CT Employment Type: Full-Time Pay Rate: $20–$22/hour Schedule: Flexible hours (minimum of two full weekdays per week required) Work Setting: On-Site Overview Jovie is seeking caring and responsible Babysitters to join our trusted Sitter Pool . This is a great opportunity for experienced caregivers who enjoy working with children and supporting local families. With flexible scheduling and a supportive team environment, you can build a schedule that works for you while providing meaningful childcare services across Fairfield County.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum 2 years of childcare or babysitting experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong commitment to safe, responsible caregiving

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing care, ensuring children’s safety at all known times
• Engage children in age-appropriate play and developmental activities
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks
• Support daily routines such as naptime, bedtime, and structured activities
• Assist with light housekeeping related to childcare (tidying play areas, washing dishes)
• Monitor behavior and address concerns calmly and respectfully
• Administer basic first aid when needed
• Communicate openly with parents to ensure consistent, high-quality care
