About The Position

The BaSE Specialist position at UPS involves troubleshooting, calibrating, and adjusting plant floor devices to ensure optimal performance of equipment. The role requires responding to internal customer needs, managing facility alarms and emergencies, and performing preventative maintenance. This is a full-time position based in Los Angeles, CA, with a fixed schedule from Monday to Friday, 5 pm to 1:30 pm.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in engineering - Preferred
• Programming experience including troubleshooting, basic understanding of networks, motor control theory, and operation including basic AC and DC electrical troubleshooting - Preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and elementary diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Responds to internal customers.
• Responds to facility alarms and emergencies.
• Troubleshoots problems that arise.
• Performs preventative maintenance.
