About The Position

This is a field-based, hunter-focused outside sales role responsible for driving new business across the Kansas City metro area. You’ll own the front end of the sales cycle by prospecting, building relationships, and closing new commercial customers for kitchen ventilation, fire protection, and related service solutions. In-person, field-based role covering the Kansas City metro Competitive base salary with bonus potential and uncapped commission, offering significant earning upside for high performers. New business development role for driven, self-motivated sales professionals

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of B2B outside sales or new business development experience preferred
  • Proven ability to prospect, cold call, and close new business
  • Comfortable working independently in the field
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
  • Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, NetSuite, ServiceTrade, or similar preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within the Kansas City metro

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new B2B customers through cold outreach, in-person visits, referrals, and networking
  • Own your territory and pipeline with a hunter mentality
  • Conduct on-site meetings to uncover customer needs and present tailored solutions
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and service agreements
  • Close new business and transition accounts to long-term support teams
  • Collaborate with operations, technicians, and inside sales to ensure successful onboarding
  • Track activity, pipeline, and performance in CRM
