B2B Outside Sales Representative (Hunter)
About The Position
This is a field-based, hunter-focused outside sales role responsible for driving new B2B business across the Indianapolis metro area. You’ll own the front end of the sales cycle by prospecting, building relationships, and closing new commercial customers for kitchen ventilation, fire protection, and related service solutions. In-person, field-based role covering the Indianapolis metro Competitive base salary with bonus potential and uncapped commission New business development role for driven, self-motivated sales professionals WHO ARE WE? Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of B2B outside sales or new business development experience preferred
- Proven ability to prospect, cold call, and close new business
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
- Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, NetSuite, ServiceTrade, or similar preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within the Indianapolis metro
Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new B2B customers through cold outreach, in-person visits, referrals, and networking
- Own your territory and pipeline with a hunter mentality
- Conduct on-site meetings to uncover customer needs and present tailored solutions
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and service agreements
- Close new business and transition accounts to long-term support teams
- Collaborate with operations, technicians, and inside sales to ensure successful onboarding
- Track activity, pipeline, and performance in CRM systems
