About The Position

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is now accepting applications for its Summer 2026 Intern Program. This exciting opportunity offers a paid, 10-week experience for selected UNDERGRAD OR GRAD (based on HM request) students. The program will run from June 1 to August 7. Eligible students will be seniors or recent graduates, possess U.S. work authorization, and be able to work full-time on a 5-day-per-week on-site schedule. Additionally, participation in this program requires that you be located in the United States for the duration of the engagement. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is encouraged. The application window is open until March 15, 2026; however, it may close earlier if all available roles are filled. Role and Responsibilities Position Summary Samsung Networks is a global leader in providing cloud-native 4G and 5G networking solutions to mobile telecom operators worldwide. The Networks Strategy and Marketing team plays a pivotal role in driving the success of our US business through customer and market analysis, marketing communications, and strategic partnerships. As a B2B Mobile Network Strategy Intern, you will work in our Plano, Texas office alongside the Marketing and Strategy team. Your responsibilities will include supporting marketing programs targeting mobile telecom operators, conducting strategy evaluations of the mobile infrastructure industry, and researching operator network performance. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing and strategy while engaging with Samsung executives.

Requirements

  • Education: Pursuing a Master's Degree
  • Technical Skills: Background in wireless/telecom (e.g., 4G/5G, Radio Access Network) or demonstrated interest in a career in this field.
  • Basic understanding of AI and machine learning principles.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to perform quantitative strategic analysis on large datasets.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative assessments (e.g., research, financial statements, other data).
  • Comfortable creating and presenting materials (slide decks, spreadsheets, word documents) for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of industry trends in AI and technology.
  • Ability to effectively present findings to senior leadership.
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting market research reports from financial and industry analysts, as well as technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive attitude with a strong eagerness to learn.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred academic fields of study: Electrical Engineering, Telecom Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Final-year graduate students strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate new network-driven use cases and recommend potential Samsung Networks strategies based on opportunity size, technology and ecosystem readiness, business case, and other criteria.
  • Utilize all available resources (standards publications, regulatory documents, third-party research, analysts' views, company financials, customer account teams, product and technology teams, etc.) to perform strategic and financial analyses and make recommendations, including go-to-market strategy.
  • Provide Executive Management with timely and insightful analysis on the competitive landscape, movements, and strategies with implications and recommended actions.
  • Assist in analyzing relevant datasets to identify trends and insights.
  • Collaborate with product managers, sales teams, corporate communications teams, and other departments to develop and execute marketing programs that drive product growth.
