About The Position

The B2B Industrial Footwear and Workwear Sales Representative is responsible for driving new business and expanding existing industrial accounts across an assigned territory. This role focuses on selling safety footwear, workwear, PPE, voucher programs, uniform customization, and mobile/on-site fitting solutions to mid-sized and enterprise employers in construction, manufacturing, logistics, food processing, public agencies, and other safety-regulated industries.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of sales experience of outside sales required.
  • Experience selling to safety, HR, procurement, or industrial buyers.
  • Familiar with PPE, Safety footwear, uniforms, MRO, or similar.
  • Comfortable with cold outreach sales approaches and pipeline management.
  • Comfortable and motivated by performance-based commission and compensation.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong familiarity with Safety Footwear is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and secure new industrial accounts through cold outreach, field visits, jobsite drop-ins, chamber/association events, and lead follow-up.
  • Build a multi-stage sales pipeline using CRM; maintain detailed notes, contacts, contract status, and next steps.
  • Present program proposals including Digital, Uniform and customization options, On-ste mobile fitting events or store-based programs.
  • Conduct site walk-throughs and needs assessments to align product mix with safety requirements (ASTM, EH, slip-resistant, met-guard, FR, Hi-Vis, etc.).
  • Manage ongoing relationships and quarterly business reviews with active accounts.
  • Upsell additional departments, locations, job classifications, or PPE categories.
  • Propose employee appreciation events, restock cycles, voucher updates, or program expansions.
  • Work with internal teams to resolve delivery, sizing, or invoicing concerns quickly.
  • Coordinate with designated retail stores to hand off leads and conversions.
  • Schedule and staff mobile truck fittings, safety fairs, or enrollment days.
  • Train store teams on program details, signage needs, and lead capture tactics.
  • Maintain CRM and pipeline accuracy.
  • Submit weekly activity scorecard (calls, visits, quotes, closes, revenue).
  • Provide forecast accuracy for rolling 60/90-day periods.
