About The Position

The Clorox Company Internship Program is a 10-week summer experience that runs from June through August. Interns are provided meaningful work assignments designed to provide perspective and practical work experience highlighting what you would do in a similar role following completion of your degree and working at the company on a regular, full-time basis. Through the course of the summer, interns participate in: Formal, three-day orientation and program kick off with interns from all functions in California; Peer-level mentorship and connection points with functional and company executives; Community Engagement activity; Soft-skills training and development exercises. Requirements

  • Eagerness to learn how owned digital channels drive growth and engagement.
  • Short-form video production and editing (vertical/horizontal), including captions, graphics, and brand elements for accessibility and consistency.
  • Story-driven video content aligned with campaigns and brand messaging.
  • Working knowledge of video tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and best practices for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Experience supporting digital content across web, social, and email (including basic website/CMS updates).
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with ability to prioritize.
  • Collaborative and effective with cross-functional teams and agency partners.
  • Able to manage creative assets (fonts, images, source files) and work comfortably in Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
  • Passion for video content creation, digital marketing, or marketing communications.
  • Enrollment in a 4-year degree program in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, with Junior or Senior class standing.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.

Nice To Haves

  • CMS experience (e.g., Contentful) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of CloroxPro’s owned digital platforms and processes.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Marketing Team and support the Marcomm Manager on various projects across owned digital marketing channels, including website, social media, and email.
  • Partner with the Marcomm Manager to conduct a website content audit, propose SEO improvements, and assist with implementation.
  • Help plan and execute evergreen and campaign-specific LinkedIn posts to strengthen social media presence.
  • Gain insight into marketing automation efforts and support the Marketing Operations lead, as needed.
