Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in working independently by managing and developing an outside sales territory
  • Extensive experience in cold call prospecting by phone and in person
  • Proven experience in selling products and service contracts in a B2B environment
  • Demonstrated success in managing existing customers while concurrently developing new clients
  • Computer proficiency to use a laptop, desktop computer, and software including word processing, spreadsheets and CRM systems
  • Must be willing to work early morning or evenings and weekends to ensure customer needs are addressed, attend company community and business functions, etc.
  • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle including car, pickup truck, cargo van, or box truck
  • Ability to forecast business accurately and have basic understanding business financial principles is essential.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in verbal or written that lead to sales success
  • Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to bend and stoop, grasp products, and climb ladders.
  • Must be able to bend and lift loads, up to 50 lbs. unassisted and able to push and pull carts with products

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills preferred

Responsibilities

  • Seek out new accounts, develop and nurture existing ones.
  • Envision your sales approach, target accounts and sales goals, and build a solid sales plan. The end result will be a territory sales management that is focused on daily sales activities and behaviors that include daily prospecting/client calls and meetings that result in sales quotas and captured orders.
  • Data entry of new leads and contacts, opportunities, quotes and updating sales cycle process in CRM system.
  • Participate as a team and coordinate with B2B inside sales/support and key store staff in the execution of the order fulfillment and delivery processes.
  • Works with customers to leverage products and services to enhance customers' business and growth opportunities.
  • Provides input into pricing, positioning and strategy within assigned verticals or markets.
  • Provides sales forecasts and other reports to manager as required.
  • Prepare and present proposals to corporate decision makers, build interactive components for all renewal and new business proposals, build interactive presentations that outline features, benefits and unique selling points of interactive properties.
