About the position

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Manager of B2B 3rd Party Marketplaces to oversee our presence and drive growth on various online B2B marketplaces. As the Manager of 3rd Party Marketplaces, you will be responsible for developing and executing B2B marketplace strategies, managing relationships with marketplace partners, and optimizing product listings to maximize sales and profitability. The role will include, but not limited to, functional and customer experience enhancements, collaboration with marketing, product managers, and ecommerce teams to deliver capabilities that maximize product conversions that expand new customers and retain existing customers. The Manager will be responsible for driving engagement across all marketplaces while collaborating with cross functional partners to support all business goals. This role is remote but based on location, could be hybrid. Applicants located within a 30 mile radius of an ODP Corp building could be required to go in office 2x's a week.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketplace strategy to drive sales and expand our product offerings across various online marketplaces.
  • Manage relationships with key marketplace partners, negotiating agreements, and ensuring compliance with marketplace policies and requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability across multiple marketplaces.
  • Oversee the creation and optimization of product listings, ensuring accurate and compelling product descriptions, images, and pricing.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies and promotional activities to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Stay up-to-date with marketplace trends, industry best practices, and changes in algorithms or policies that may impact performance.
  • Conduct marketplace research and analysis to identify new opportunities for expansion and assess the competitive landscape.
  • Provide regular reports and performance updates to senior management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketplaces, B2B Ecommerce or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in related field.
  • Experience in Ecommerce Merchandising and B2B Marketplaces.
  • Strong knowledge of online marketplaces such as Amazon, Newegg, Walmart, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with Amazon FBA.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use computers and technology for information.
