About the position

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting our efforts to grow audience and revenue across our various Business to Business programs and initiatives, while also working across all customer segments (B2B, B2C, and R D) to ensure cohesive marketing strategies. Our ideal candidate is independent, quick on their feet, and has the ability to juggle several projects without losing sight of long-term goals. Excellent communication skills are a must, along with attention to detail, the ability to work as part of a team, and a passion for marketing. As a marketing specialist, you will be responsible for supporting initiatives that tell the story of our products, services and benefits, contribute to our overall content marketing and engagement initiatives, and play a critical role in driving product sales. You will work with several cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, aligned messaging and coordinated execution. This position will support marketing for our pre-existing products, as well as the launch and nurturing of new ones. This position offers a lot of opportunities to innovate and create as part of a growing marketing team at the center of organization-wide transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and support marketing plans and programs to achieve revenue objectives and drive demand for products.
  • Plans will include email marketing, direct mail marketing, SEM, digital advertising, print advertising, collateral, sales support, content marketing, webinars, social media, trade show exhibition and public relations.
  • Write, format and manage fulfillment of e-mail campaigns, including distribution tool and analytics (monitoring click through rates, etc.).
  • Develop marketing collateral from copywriting to production through fulfillment.
  • Write and manage updates for websites.
  • Execute digital audience development campaigns that build awareness, drive traffic, and create overall business value to support the growth of ASME's database.
  • Manage promotion and execution of content assets that are part of the audience development strategy, including but not limited to webinars, white papers, infographics, and case studies.
  • Work with the social media team to scale growth across all social platforms with a focus on strategy to increase our audience of targeted, engaged followers.
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams (marketing, content, web, product, program, among others) to identify opportunities for new content and align campaigns with other business goals.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years' work experience, preferably in an agency environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or relevant field preferred.
  • The ideal candidate should be well-versed in HubSpot, including expertise in email marketing, setting up nurture streams and automations, and understanding workflows.
  • Working knowledge of the general marketing process - research, planning, promotion and evaluation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with enterprise level marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, webinar platforms, ESPs and content management systems.
  • Hands-on experience working on paid digital campaigns, working with vendors, sponsors and/or collaborators.
  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics.
  • Self-motivated with strong project management skills and the ability to effectively manage time.
  • Ability to stay organized, meet deadlines, balance priorities, and work well under pressure.
  • Exceptional understanding and adherence to business processes.
  • Desire to explore and proactively surface new distribution channels and products.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ease working within teams remotely or on-site.
