About The Position

As a Building & Grounds Industrial Maintenance Partner at H-E-B, you will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of H-E-B facilities and systems. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, welding, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, or construction trades.
• Working knowledge of 3-phase AC voltage sources (480 VAC) and understanding of amp meters, multimeters, and Ohm's law.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated initiative in work.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic office remodel skills and apply knowledge of proper dock maintenance methods.
• Repair and replace basic plumbing fixtures in H-E-B facilities.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on industrial equipment, including sprockets, bearings, belts, and sheaves.
• Reset auto doors, auto gates, and entry/exit turnstiles as needed.
• Perform skill-level appropriate preventive maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Assist in troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of fire systems, applying knowledge of wet systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic 120/277 VAC circuits for lighting and equipment, adhering to safe practices.
