The B-52 System Integration Engineer position at DCS Corp in Oklahoma City, OK, involves applying engineering principles and experience to the B-52 weapon systems and their life cycles. The role includes managing interfaces with various communities, developing acquisition and sustainment strategies, and supporting documentation activities. The engineer will assist in capability management strategies and ensure integrated architectures are developed for cross-enterprise comparison and analysis. The position requires collaboration with senior functional leads and managing tasks from the AFMC SOCCER database.

  • Independently manage interfaces and processes with development planning, technology, intelligence, acquisition, sustainment, and user communities.
  • Apply knowledge to enterprise activities spanning requirements/acquisition and sustainment.
  • Support development of strategies for cross-cutting capability requirements.
  • Assist with documentation activities including TEMPs, SEPs, RFPs, and test plans.
  • Review systems engineering initiatives related to policy changes.
  • Assist in managing capability and systems engineering studies.
  • Communicate system engineering solutions and risk analysis within AFLCMC.
  • Support transition of programs into and out of the F/B Directorate.
  • Assist in planning across Family of Systems and Systems of Systems Engineering.
  • Develop and administer technology processes for identifying and assessing proposals.
  • Review planning documents for realistic industrial base execution.
  • Integrate intelligence information for cross-enterprise capabilities planning.
  • Organize briefings for discussions and record outcomes.
  • Manage higher headquarters and internal tasks from the AFMC SOCCER database.
  • Support military airworthiness certification documentation review.
  • Provide analysis of DoD and USAF policies for airworthiness certification.
  • Coordinate engineering efforts for test planning similar to First Article Test.
  • Support engineering efforts including FCA/PCA and risk management.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or higher in a professional Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited program.
  • Minimum of 12 years of engineering experience in a relevant functional area.
  • At least 8 years of experience in the specialty task area for the DoD.
  • An adjudicated DoD Security clearance of Secret on the First Day of employment.
  • Knowledge of airworthiness, diagnostics, electrical, and field implementation actions IAW MIL-HDBK-516C.
