The Boeing Company is looking for a B-1B/B-52H Test & Evaluation Engineer (Flight/Mission/System Test) to join our Bombers team at Edwards Air Force Base, California. This position supports developmental ground and flight testing of Boeing B-1B Lancer and B-52H Stratofortress programs. The Boeing Company supports multiple platforms at Edwards AFB in conjunction with 419th Flight Test Squadron, Global Power Bomber Combined Test Force (CTF), working directly with government and industry partners to improve the warfighting capabilities of the United States Air Force. This position will focus on test planning, test execution, problem identification and resolution, data collection and analysis, and customer interaction in a fast-paced team environment. Edwards AFB is the home of the 412th Test Wing and the 2nd largest Air Force base. The Test Wing oversees base day-to-day operations and provides support for over 10,000 military, federal, civilian, and contract personnel assigned to a 481-square mile installation. The 412th Test Wing plans, conducts, analyzes, and reports on all flight and ground testing of aircraft, weapons systems, software and components as well as modeling and simulation for the U.S. Air Force. There are three core components for this mission: flying operations, maintenance, and engineering.
