For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Senior QA Engineer. Core Knowledge & Skills: Masters automation frameworks, scripting languages, security testing, test management, and CI/CD integration. Work & Complexity: Performs end-to-end and performance testing, executes security testing, manages test environments, and ensures compliance. Quality & Independence: Maintains high standards, identifies root causes, proactively addresses issues, and operates with high autonomy. Teamwork & Communication: Leads team projects, collaborates cross-functionally, mentors juniors, and resolves conflicts. Consulting & Engagement: Advises on automation frameworks, best practices, performance testing, and cross-functional collaboration. As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Azure Test Engineer. Project Summary AIS is supporting federal customer with a program focused on architecture and infrastructure.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
4+ years of relevant experience supporting enterprise Azure cloud and/or infrastructure environments.
Certifications: IAT-2, 1 or more cloud certifications.
Active Secret clearance (or higher).
Experience working in regulated environments and following secure engineering / documentation practices.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting DoD/IC programs and mission systems.

Responsibilities

Performs activities related to cloud systems verification and validation - functional test, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies for hardware and software specifications.
Utilize trends and metrics to identify opportunities for improvements within existing frameworks, tools and processes.
Responsible for systems functionality, performance, and configurations issues.
