About The Position

As an Azure Systems Engineer at West Shore Home, you will evaluate, implement, and maintain our cloud management platforms and communication platforms, ensuring any issues or security concerns are acted upon proactively.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ progressive experience in Microsoft Azure platforms and cloud-based backup systems with an understanding and demonstrated implement enhancements to existing application workloads to support migrations to Azure platform, deep understanding of Azure security best practices and governance policies, and services utilizing best practices.
• Ability to mentor and coach junior resources, providing guidance and support to help them develop their technical skills and grow in their roles.
• Good understanding of GRC controls and methods to satisfy regulatory compliance.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of their application on a full-time basis.
• The Company will not sponsor applicants for work visas.

Nice To Haves

• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure Azure infrastructure solutions.
• Lead the automation of infrastructure using tools like Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform.
• Optimize cost, performance, and reliability across cloud-hosted environments.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Strong experience with Azure IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, and identity services.
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, CLI) and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows in Azure.
• Monitoring and alerting with tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel.
