About The Position

Azure System Administrator Austin, TX Azure System Administrator Responsibilities: • Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, and other cloud services. • Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity using Azure Monitor and related tools. • Create and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM/Bicep templates to streamline deployments and operations. • Implement and maintain Azure security controls, including identity and access management, NSGs, and policies to meet compliance standards. • Manage Azure Backup, Site Recovery, and disaster recovery plans. • Administer Azure Active Directory, group policies, and role-based access control (RBAC). • Provide Level 2/3 support for cloud-related issues, incident response, and root cause analysis. • Work closely with DevOps, networking, and security teams to ensure smooth integration of cloud resources. • Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures. • Office/M365 User and Group administration with ability to/experience with: o Mailbox management (archiving, message trace…) o Modify/troubleshoot MS Teams settings o Mailbox/message security (identify and export suspicious traffic and upload for analysis by security team • Familiarity with Azure Infrastructure and Administration of Windows 11 / 2019/2022 server OS InTune. NO 3RD PARTIES; MUST BE ABLE TO WORK DIRECTLY WITHOUT SPONSORSHIP MUST CURRENTLY LIVE IN THE AUSTIN, TX, AREA Requirements: · 5+ years of Azure system administration · Solid experience with Azure Monitor, automation scripts (e.g. PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM/Bicep templates), Azure Active Directory, Office/M365 User and Group administration, Windows 11, Windows Server 2019/2022 OS InTune · Currently live in the Austin, TX, area · Willing to work fully onsite, M-F · Eligible to work directly with any U.S. employer without requiring sponsorship at any time · Good written and verbal communication skills · Able to pass a background check and drug screen

Requirements

5+ years of Azure system administration
Solid experience with Azure Monitor, automation scripts (e.g. PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM/Bicep templates), Azure Active Directory, Office/M365 User and Group administration, Windows 11, Windows Server 2019/2022 OS InTune
Currently live in the Austin, TX, area
Willing to work fully onsite, M-F
Eligible to work directly with any U.S. employer without requiring sponsorship at any time
Good written and verbal communication skills
Able to pass a background check and drug screen
