The Azure Cloud Security Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing the security infrastructure of a growing SaaS company based in Atlanta, GA. This position involves collaborating with a small team to develop and implement security measures for cloud environments, particularly focusing on Azure. Join a team of 3 to enhance the company's cloud security infrastructure.
Curate a roadmap for network security.
Train and mentor other members of the network and security engineering teams.
Monitor cybersecurity in cloud environments, specifically Azure.
Collaborate with team members on security efforts.

5 to 7 years of experience in a professional security role.
Expertise in network administration security.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server.
Ability to mentor and lead internal security efforts.
Knowledge of industry security standards such as ISO and NIST.
Proven experience monitoring cybersecurity in Azure cloud environments.

Ability to assist with compliance needs (SOC2).
Familiarity with scripting using Python or PowerShell.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Local Atlanta resident.
BS in Computer Science from an accredited university.
