Brown & Brown is seeking an Azure Data Factory Engineer to join our growing team in Milwaukee, WI! The ADF Engineer will design, develop, and assist with the Azure-based data ingestion processes which are the foundation of business, financial, and operations systems in support of core Division and Service Line functions and business processes. How You Will Contribute: Understand data transformation goals and translate those into an appropriate technical cloud solution. Design and implement reusable data ingestion frameworks. Learn and adopt new tools and techniques to increase performance, automation and scalability. Migrate and deploy Azure analytics solutions. Implement data services including Azure Data Lake, and Azure Data Factory Analyze, troubleshooting and remediate performance issues. Design and develop scalable data models and data ingestion frameworks to transform a wide variety of datasets. Solve business problems using one or more Azure data services in combination with building data pipelines, data streams, and system integration.

Requirements

• Degree within Business Administration, Computer Science, Accounting, or Management Information Systems
• 1-3 years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud platforms and tools for deploying and managing data and applications.
• Proficient with T-SQL, data pipelines, and semantic models
• Experience with DevOps principles.
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
• Highly self-motivated and directed.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative, and matrixed environment.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking ability.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Automation and orchestration experience with Visual Studio/VS Code, Azure Data Studio, Git, Azure DevOps is a plus.
