About The Position

About the Role: Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking an Azure Data Engineer with 2+ years of hands-on Azure experience to join our growing team. Our data team supports a wide range of internal customers including Finance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Sales by delivering scalable, secure, and high-impact data solutions. What You’ll Do: As an Azure Data Engineer , a typical day might include the following: Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory , Azure SQL , Azure Data Lake , Azure Stream Analytics , and Power BI Premium . Work with on-premises tools such as SQL Server , SSIS , and SSAS to integrate legacy systems with modern cloud solutions. Design normalized relational and/or dimensional data models for OLTP and OLAP systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement enterprise reporting models. Administer and optimize our data solutions for performance, scalability and reliability. Data Engineer, $97,740 – $144,460 Lead Data Engineer, $115,290 – $170,349. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. Our ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
