About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill an Azure Data Engineer opening for our premier client. Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Required skills: Seeking a data engineer with expertise in Azure toolset advises on, develops, and maintains data engineering solutions on the Azure Cloud ecosystem. They design, build, and operate batch and real-time data pipelines using Azure services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure DataBricks, and Event Hub. This role also involves designing, building, and operating the data layer on Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL DW, and Cosmos DB. The data engineer is proficient in Azure Data Platform components, including ADLS2, Blob Storage, SQLDW, Synapse Analytics with Spark and SQL, Azure functions with Python, Azure Purview, and Cosmos DB. They are also proficient in Azure Event Hub and Streaming Analytics, Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka, Azure DataBricks with Spark, and other open source technologies like Apache Airflow and dbt, Spark / Python, or Spark / Scala. Required skills: 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or ETL Development in high-demand, fast-paced environments. 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Azure Data Platform — including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, or Azure Synapse Analytics. Strong expertise in SQL Server development, T-SQL, and data warehouse design principles." Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
