About The Position

CTG is seeking an Azure Data Engineer with expertise in event-driven and streaming systems to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Azure.

Requirements

• Strong programming in Python and/or Java
• Advanced SQL and database optimization
• Experience with event-driven architectures
• Proficient with Azure cloud services: Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Functions, ADLS2, Blob Storage, Cosmos DB
• Familiarity with streaming frameworks and real-time analytics

Responsibilities

• Develop real-time and batch data pipelines using Azure Event Hub, Databricks (Spark), Data Factory, and Synapse Analytics.
• Build backend services with Python and/or Java.
• Design and optimize SQL queries across multiple databases (Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MSSQL).
• Implement streaming solutions and event-driven architectures (Kafka, Azure Event Hub).
• Leverage AI-assisted tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor) to accelerate development.
• Maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and CI/CD processes for reliable deployments.
