About The Position

GovCIO is currently hiring for an Azure Cloud Notebook Python/PySpark developer to develop, test and implement Azure Notebook, PySpark/Python ETL and is experienced in Synapse database and SQL development. This position will be a remote position with occasional on site requirements in Fort Lee, VA.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or commensurate experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance up to a Top Secret.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• 5+ years’ experience in development of Notebook, PySpark/Python, Synapse & Azure environment.
• Good understanding of data warehousing, data lakes and business intelligence.
• Good requirement gathering, data analysis and customer facing skills.
• Security+ certification.

Nice To Haves

• Clearance Required: Secret.
• Knowledge of Informatica and Teradata.
• Understanding of BI reporting using PowerBI, business objects and Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and implement Notebook, PySpark/Python ETL.
• Work with Synapse database and SQL development.
• Participate in enterprise data warehouse projects.
