About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager (PM) to lead and oversee the efforts of extending our enterprise organization into a hybrid Azure Cloud environment, followed by the full transition and rebuilding of all Enterprise IT services in the new Entra domain. This transformation is a key component of our strategy towards full cloud adoption, and the PM will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and seamless execution of this initiative. The PM will be responsible for comprehending the complexities of a large enterprise IT environment, identifying and managing each service transition, and collaborating with various technical service providers to ensure success. This is a high-visibility project, and the PM will interact with internal service providers, global support teams, customer stakeholders, and operations officers to ensure that the migration is executed on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree.
  • TS/SCI w/Poly security clearance.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in large-scale IT service transitions, including hybrid cloud migrations.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT services, cloud technologies, and migration strategies.
  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects within a global enterprise environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to engage with senior executives, technical teams, and external vendors.
  • Ability to keep multiple project streams organized and aligned, with a keen focus on detail and execution.
  • A proactive approach to identifying potential issues, risks, and changes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Azure Cloud and cloud adoption.
  • Familiarity with Entra domains and Azure ecosystems.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and related cloud migration tools.
  • Familiarity with enterprise domain management, Active Directory, and Azure AD (Entra).
  • Prior experience in leading global IT transformations and working across diverse teams and time zones.
  • Certification in PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the project plan for extending and migrating all IT services to the Azure Cloud environment.
  • Work closely with technical teams, architects, and internal stakeholders to ensure each service transition is understood, planned, and executed efficiently.
  • Engage with internal service providers, global support teams, operations officers, and customer stakeholders to communicate project goals, progress, and updates.
  • Oversee the project budget, ensuring that services and virtual devices are stood up within financial boundaries.
  • Address and manage technical roadblocks or changes, adjusting the project plan as needed to maintain project scope, schedule, and quality.
  • Maintain clear and concise communication across teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency on project status, risks, and accomplishments.
  • Anticipate potential risks and challenges in the migration process and develop mitigation plans to minimize disruption and delays.
  • Act as a 'walking manager' by engaging directly with teams, providing support, and ensuring collaboration between cross-functional teams to overcome hurdles.
  • Collaborate with architecture and technical teams to understand the necessary changes for each IT service being migrated to the Azure Cloud and ensure seamless execution.
