About The Position

As a cloud computing application architect, you will create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. You will help develop cloud-based solutions for national security's toughest problems, collaborating closely with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in AWS. Your role will involve designing, developing, testing, and deploying cloud solution components within a DevOps framework, managing container apps, and utilizing products like Kubernetes. You will have access to internal AWS Labs to explore different solutions and partner with stakeholders to deliver the right technical solutions, whether modernizing legacy systems or creating new applications from scratch.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with Cloud Architecture.
• 3+ years of experience in the implementation of cloud technologies, including Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Terraform.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Azure Solutions Architect Certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience managing and optimizing databases on AWS, including RDS and DynamoDB.
• Experience programming in Python for automation and scripting tasks.
• Experience with DevOps practices and methodologies.
• Ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and work with third-party APIs.
