About The Position

The Azure Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security solutions for Azure and M365 environments. This role involves performing security assessments, managing firewalls, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with various regulations. The position is permanent and requires onsite work in Seattle, Washington.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Azure security engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, advise, and implement security solutions, policies, and standards for Azure and M365 environments.
• Perform security validations and assessments of Azure systems.
• Configure and maintain Azure firewalls and security protocols.
• Monitor security alerts and lead Azure-related incident response efforts alongside the Cyber Defense team.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed security best practices into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure adherence to regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, SOX, ISO 27001) while optimizing compliance processes.
• Draft support documentation, technical standards, and operational workflows for evolving application delivery environments.
