About The Position

Azure Cloud Infrastructure Architect The Opportunity: Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing infrastructure architect on our team, you’ll use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We’re looking for someone like you to help support national security. You’ll closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in Cloud IT to define and develop cloud solution components. With access to our Azure environment you’ll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our clients’ problems, and you’ll work with your team and stakeholders to deliver the right technical solutions. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with architecting or developing cloud native applications within Azure environment
  • 2+ years of experience with networking related to hybrid cloud environments within classified environments
  • Experience working with DoD STIGs or CIS Benchmarks such as Hardening virtual servers and adhering to security controls
  • Experience troubleshooting networking issues within AWS cloud
  • Top Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Azure Administrator Associate Certification
  • DoD 8570 IAT II Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with promoting solutions into higher classification environments such as STIGs, container patching, or similar
  • Experience with the DoW including within cloud architecture or management, security, or networking
  • Experience working with or developing Spe cia l Access Programs ( SAP ) mission workloads
  • Experience in container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or other K8S distros
  • Experience with Cloud Native account management services
  • Experience managing and configuring Ubuntu, RHEL, and Windows Server operating systems
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Azure Security Engineer Associate Certification

  • Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
  • The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).
