About The Position

As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will deliver enterprise cloud solutions for defense and federal clients. Your responsibilities will include architecting and deploying Azure cloud infrastructure and platform services, implementing Azure security controls and governance frameworks, and managing Azure Active Directory, identity, and access management. You will design and configure virtual networks, ExpressRoute, and hybrid connectivity, automate cloud deployments using Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Bicep, or Terraform, and monitor and optimize Azure resource utilization and costs. Additionally, you will support application migration and modernization initiatives, ensure compliance with federal security standards and DoD requirements, and troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure cloud engineering.
• Experience with Azure security and compliance tools, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with PowerShell or Azure CLI scripting capabilities.
• Knowledge of Azure networking and hybrid connectivity.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, including ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Ability to architect and implement solutions in secure, compliance-driven environments.
• Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Azure Associate-level Certification such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Developer Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Azure Network Engineer Associate Certification.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II or DoD 8410 CSSP Certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Azure Government or Impact Level regions such as IL-2, IL-4, IL-5, or IL-6.
• Experience with Azure Sentinel and security operations.
• Experience with containerization, including AKS and Azure Container Instances.
• Knowledge of FedRAMP and DoD IL compliance requirements.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or a related field.
• Azure Expert-level Certification such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Azure Security Engineer Associate Certification.
• CISSP, CCSP, or Azure Security Engineer Associate Certification.
