About The Position

Infosys is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer with experience in administration and managing Azure Infrastructure. The role requires a close partnership and collaboration with other IT Engineers, and Subject Matter Experts.

Requirements

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Long Beach, CA, Phoenix, AZ, Irving, TX, Richardson, TX, or Raleigh, NC, and be willing to relocate to the area.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in using a variety of Azure technologies such as Virtual Machines, NetApp Storage, Network, Azure Automation, Azure Backup and Site Recovery Services, and Security.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an Azure based cloud solution, with an emphasis on best practice cloud security.
  • Administer Azure Linux operations including VM Provision, OS/Resource upgrades, Troubleshooting and best practice implementations.
  • Utilize scripting (e.g. PowerShell) and automation skills using Ansible and DevOps pipeline.
  • Manage ITIL processes on incident, change, problem management and governance.
  • Administer Virtual Machines for Linux OS, NetApp storage, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Work with onsite and offshore teams to manage major incidents, change implementations, and SLA management.
  • Participate in Major Incident/Bridge calls during outages and troubleshoot IaaS and PaaS related issues.
  • Conduct Linux Administration and Troubleshooting.
  • Recover/Build VM and automate to solve customer problems.
  • Utilize scripts to automate troubleshooting and diagnostics activities.
