About The Position

As an Azure Cloud Engineer you’ll play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions across our enterprise. You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and IT teams to drive our digital transformation and support mission-critical applications, mobility solutions, and data platforms.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Overall IT Experience: 6+ years
  • Cloud Experience: 3+ years in Azure-focused architecture or engineering roles
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale solutions in AZURE
  • In-depth knowledge of core Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and monitoring
  • Hands-on expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architecture
  • Strong foundation in cloud security, IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. IaC, Terraform, ARM)
  • Experience with hybrid cloud design, VPN, load balancing, and network configuration

Responsibilities

  • Architect and manage cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure for enterprise-scale applications.
  • Partner with engineering and business teams to understand needs and deliver scalable, cost-effective solutions.
  • Lead implementation and integration of web-based applications in cloud environments.
  • Ensure alignment with security, compliance, and IT governance frameworks.
  • Monitor system uptime, performance, and resolve operational issues proactively.
  • Stay up to date with emerging Azure and cloud technologies, continuously evaluating their fit for enterprise use.
  • Support migration strategies, disaster recovery plans, and hybrid cloud integration.
  • Provide coaching and leadership to junior technical staff; act as a team lead when required.
  • Maintain documentation, operational logs, and security audit records.
